DC Breaks

General Atomics fabricates DC breaks using small gaps in corrugated waveguides. Aluminum oxide insulators align the input and output waveguides with the required voltage isolation.

DC break in 63.5-mm corrugated waveguide
DC break in 63.5-mm corrugated waveguide with direct cooling of aluminum flange
DC break in 60.3-mm corrugated waveguide
DC break in 60.3-mm corrugated waveguide with copper cooling coil around right flange and Teflon cooling tubes around the ceramic insulator. The Teflon tubes are constrained under a cover.
