Military and Veterans

General Atomics is dedicated to honoring and supporting those who have served in our country's military as they transition to civilian life. Recognizing the unique skills, leadership qualities, and discipline military personnel bring to the workforce, we actively seek to recruit individuals who are in the final stages of their military service. At GA, we understand the importance of a smooth and successful transition, and we are committed to providing meaningful career opportunities that leverage the diverse talents of military service members.

We make it easy for service members to continue to make an impact through meaningful work, ample growth opportunities, and an environment that values work-life balance.

Across GA and our affiliated companies, Veterans play an integral role in our operations and strategy.

Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist General Atomics

I joined GA because I wanted to be a part of a company that has a mission greater than just its own success. As a veteran, being a part of a company that plays a crucial role in our country's defense is something I'm truly passionate about.

I wanted to continue my service and make a positive difference in the world. At GA, I can provide my friends, family, neighbors and current service members with the best products to keep them aware and safe at home and on the battlefield.

Manager, Aircraft System Integration and Test GA-ASI

Most of my team is prior military service members. I've found that new transitioning veterans instantly find some relatability when they join the GA team, which makes the transition easier.

GA provides a home for service members where they can still feel the sense of purpose they had in the military. As a father of two young kids, I like that GA offers the flexibility to make baseball practice during the week and the 9/80 schedule allows me to go camping or fishing with my family on the Fridays I have off.

This recognition highlights General Atomics' commitment to valuing and nurturing talent.
