Modular Missiles and Payloads
Rapid Affordable Modular Missile (RAMM)
- Low cost
- Flexible configuration.
- Mature hardware with high Technology Readiness Levels (TRL)
- Interoperable with existing Command and Control (C2)
- Host kinetic, sensor, seeker or data link navigation payloads
Surface-To-Surface, Surface-To-Air
RAMM offers a flexible, open architecture design that can be rapidly tailored to support customer-specific requirements, technologies, and a range of mission requirements. RAMM provides short to medium range and altitude engagement capabilities targeting a variety of manned aviation platforms and small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
RAMM-Testbed
- Shortens concept to flight test scheduling
- Comprehensive, in-house capabilities control costs
- Lab and live missile flight testing available
RAMM-Testbed
- Shortens concept to flight test scheduling
- Comprehensive, in-house capabilities control costs
- Lab and live missile flight testing available
The RAMM-Testbed provides customers with a comprehensive, affordable test environment and launch capability to rapidly design, install, test and evaluate components, subsystems and systems on small tactical missiles.
The RAMM-Testbed offers a "fly early, fly often" approach to advance and validate critical technologies, providing valuable, timely test data to progress design concept development and maturation. GA-EMS' avionics and flight software lab supports complete Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of missile testbeds prior to flight testing. The RAMM-Testbed offers a series of progressively more complex testing environments, including ground-launched ballistic flight and ground launched closed-loop flight.
Modular Payload
- Low cost per engagement
- Highly maneuverable
- Scalable and mature design
- Extended engagement ranges
Surface-To-Surface
The Modular Payload replaces the unitary warhead with multiple submunitions providing numerous engagements from a single missile, vastly increasing the cost effectiveness per engagement. The Modular Payload is a configurable submunition designed to increase the range of current and future long-range surface-to-surface missiles.
