Diameter Tapers

110 GHz, 31.75 to 60.3 mm diameter taper, with Conflat® flange on large end and machining for standard waveguide coupling on small end. Unwanted mode conversion is less than 0.1%.

Many other similar tapers have been made for narrowband and broadband applications. For example, a 31.75 to 63.5 mm waveguide taper was made for under 0.1% mode conversion from 100 to 180 GHz.
