DC Breaks and Rotary Joints

DC break for non-vacuum 63.5 mm waveguide       5 kV DC break for evacuated 63.5 mm waveguide. Vacuum leak test fixture is attached to Conflat® end.

Rotary Joints:  Since the HE₁₁ mode does not radiate
significantly into small waveguide gaps, rotary joints
can be made easily. Circular polarizers (miter bends)
on opposite sides of a small gap will suffice.
