A cryofracture facility for small munitions was constructed in less than a year using equipment from the previous munition cryofracture validation test facility at Dugway Proving Ground. New equipment was provided to adapt the equipment to the munitions to be fractured at Yuma Proving Ground (YPG). The facility has been successfully operated by YPG personnel since mid-2006.
