San Diego, CA – May 3, 2006 – The Commercial Laser Group of General Atomics has completed an agreement with Kantum Electronics Co. Ltd of Tokyo, Japan to provide exclusive distribution of General Atomics’ commercial laser products in Japan.
Kantum Electronics has been in business for over twenty years providing high-technology solutions and laser systems to the scientific and commercial/industrial customer-base within Japan. The president of Kantum Electronics, Mr. Itaru Kubo, is the second generation of Kubo’s leading this company. Kantum Electronics has a large staff of trained and highly qualified sales and service personnel ready to implement laser-based solutions within many market segments.
