Electron Cyclotron Emission Diagnostics

HE₁₁ waveguide transmission line for the DIII-D ECE diagnostic has low loss from 75 to 350 GHz.

Installation of 21 meters of 63.5 mm corrugated waveguide and miter bends for a 75 to 350 GHz ECE diagnostic on the DIII-D tokamak at General Atomics increased the signal by a factor of 6 compared to the previously-used lens relay transmission line.
