The DIII-D international research team is key to the scientific excellence of the DIII-D program. The team consists of over 90 participating institutions worldwide. There are nearly 475 scientific authors, 135 of which are from General Atomics. The team also consists of graduate students, post docs, and faculty from over 40 universities across the globe. Over ten team members have been honored with an American Physical Society's Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding achievements in research, education, and public service.
